Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is looking for a Ticketed Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician/Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! This is a permanent full-time position in our shop, Monday - Thursday 11.5 hours/day. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty units including, but not limited to tractors, trailers, and loaders.

Responsibilities Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
Ensure that all equipment is properly secured prior to work/repairs (i.e. Uses chock blocks and jack stands).
Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify & perform required repairs.
Perform routine and specific maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot,



diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles.
Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required.
Journeypersons will mentor apprentices in shop.
Perform regular housekeeping, ensure the work area is free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician certification.
5+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
Previous experience quoting jobs preferred.
Class 5 Driver’s License required.
