We are currently recruiting to fill a contract, full time (37.5 hours/week) Speech-Language Pathologist position in School Therapy Services. The designated office for this position will be Owen Sound. The successful candidate will provide services in Grey and Bruce counties, with occasional support in Huron and Perth counties.

This position is expected to begin in October 2026 and end in December 2027. This position is based on the school year and no work is available during school breaks, including July and August.

This exciting role provides therapy services to students in schools and involves working with a variety of fellow clinicians, educators and parents to help children and youth achieve meaningful outcomes in their ability to communicate.

Responsibilities
Provide mainly school based intervention including screening, assessment and consultation regarding speech development, articulation, fluency, voice, resonance, basic augmentative communication needs and swallowing;
Intervention can be direct, mediated or consultative and may be in groups or include virtual modalities;
Provide education for clients, families and school personnel




Plan services as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes the family, other care providers, school board personnel, volunteers, staff from other agencies, and other TVCC staff;
Participate in ongoing program development;
Clinical supervision of support personnel, students and initial practice registrants within the guidelines of CASLPO may be required.

Qualifications
Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
Experience in pediatrics is preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting
Computer proficiency including MS Office 365 and videoconferencing software (e.g. Teams)
Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required
Current certification in First Aid and CPR
Ability to provide services in French would be an asset
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Salary Range: $40.61 - $50.76/hour
