Your lived experience with mental health services and related training will allow you to effectively assist individuals dealing with trauma and other adversities. Ensure that you meet transportation needs for service assignments as necessary. Key Responsibilities:
Provide meaningful support to individuals in need
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team
Facilitate access to essential services for clients
Maintain a focus on quality and safety in service delivery
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Requirements:
Experience as a recipient of mental health or substance use services
Completion of a recognized Peer Support Training course
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License is required
Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
