THE ROLE The Mental Performance Specialist will deliver the mental performance (resiliency) program, as well as assist with facilitation of the Mental Performance Train‑The‑Trainer courses, as directed by manager.
The Mental Performance
Specialist will facilitate and deliver workshops on mental performance topics, as well as collaborate, create,
facilitate and deliver mental performance workshops and/or briefs based on the demands/needs of the workplace and/or local Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) chain of command.

Specialist will provide one‑on‑one mental performance coaching services, as well as prepare teaching material and pre/post questionnaires.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED - Master’s degree in Sports Psychology, Kinesiology, Health Studies or a related field AND some years of experience in Mental Performance coaching - Current Canadian Sports Psychology Association (CPSA) Professional Member - Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification - In planning, organizing, researching, creating and developing mental training programs - In delivering mental training programs - In planning and conducting mental training courses, workshops, presentations and specialized clinics - In determining the effectiveness and efficiency of delivered mental performance training - In development of reports - In presenting reports and findings - In applying policies, procedures, and regulations - Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS - English Essential or French Essential. Bilingual (English and French) an asset - Reading: Advanced - Writing:
