The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking individuals for Long-term occasional roles in their Before and After School Support program. Candidates will work with Designated Early Childhood Educators to implement play-based programming and offer essential supervision for children. Your role will contribute significantly to creating a positive, inclusive learning setting where all children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support play-based programming for students in grades JK to 6
• Foster positive interactions among children, parents, and staff




• Encourage self-regulation and communication skills in children
• Assist with indoor and outdoor play activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience supervising children in a safe manner
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Current satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive culture
