This role requires a passion for working with youth and at least three years of teaching experience. You will create lesson plans, maintain a safe environment, and oversee volunteers while adapting programs to meet individual participant needs. Strong communication skills and knowledge in performing arts are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide artistic support to Junior and Senior performing arts classes
• Ensure a safe, supervised learning workplace for participants
• Facilitate lectures and demonstrations each class
• Develop and adapt lesson plans based on student needs
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff for program updates
Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma required
• Minimum three years of teaching/program instruction experience
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Understanding of healthy child development principles
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
