As an Administrative Assistant within the Finance organization, you will provide exceptional and proactive support to the Finance Leadership Team. Serving as a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will build strong relationships across the organization, coordinate competing priorities, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among a diverse group of stakeholders. You will maintain, enhance, implement, and maintain the administrative systems and processes that enable the team to operate efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Work schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities Proactively provide administrative support to the Finance Leadership team, by utilizing critical thinking skills to provide solutions to existing and potential issues
Maintain a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and business acumen in all aspects of your day-to-day responsibilities
Display organizational and planning skills including but not limited to: workflow, due dates/deadlines, calendar management, time management, expense management, events, travel, etc.
Compose letters,
documents, emails, and other professional documents on behalf of the Finance Leadership team
Act as a liaison internally and with external organizations by handling inquiries within capacity
Follow up on outstanding items with other team members
Create and maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems, prepare and maintain various spreadsheets, reports, and processes related to the department
Provide back-up administrative support to other Finance and Business Executives when their assistants are away
What You Bring To The Role While consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate the skills, judgment, and capabilities required to succeed in the role, the preferred qualification is typically 10+ years of related administrative experience in a professional office environment, along with a Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent
Formal administrative training, a certificate, and experience supporting executives is preferable
High energy individual possessing excellent interpersonal and communication abilities and attention to detail with demonstrated experience interfacing with senior management personnel
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced) and office technology, including video/telephone conferencing systems, scanners, and printers
An understanding of the oil and gas industry is considered an asset
