Role Description The Networking Sales Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This role is responsible for working closely with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements, design networking solutions leveraging Pronto’s cellular routers, Wi-Fi access points, gateways, and related technologies, and present technical proposals that align with customer needs. On a day-to-day basis,
the Networking Sales Engineer conducts product demonstrations, prepares and delivers technical presentations, responds to RFPs/RFIs, and supports proof-of-concept evaluations for hospitality, retail, POS, kiosks, and other vertical markets.
The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, including configuration guidance, troubleshooting, and integration assistance with customer environments and partner platforms.
The Networking Sales
Engineer collaborates with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback, refine solution offerings, and ensure successful deployment and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering skills with experience in designing and presenting networking solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
- Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, configuring routers and access points, and assisting with integrations and deployments.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and support for closing deals in B2B environments.
- Customer Service mindset focused on responsiveness, relationship-building, and delivering reliable support to partners and end customers.
