Contribute to community welfare as a Service Support Associate with Hamilton Child and Family Supports. This temporary full-time role involves reception duties, administrative tasks, and volunteer coordination in a supportive environment.
This position supports Child Protection workers in various departments while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for service recipients and staff. You will manage phone calls, maintain records, and assist with transportation coordination, showcasing strong organizational skills and sensitivity to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming reception workplace for service users
• Answer and redirect calls professionally and promptly
• Schedule volunteer driver assignments efficiently
• Process courier packages and manage incoming/outgoing mail
• Maintain accurate records of transportation requests and statistics
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social services or similar field
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Experience in administrative support or client services preferred
