Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, energetic individual to join our Bakery Café team as a Sales Associate / Barista. Serving as the welcoming face of our Coquitlam café, you will greet guests, craft exceptional beverages, prepare light bakery items, and deliver an authentic French bakery experience.

Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet and assist guests with friendly, professional customer service.
Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and beverages to brand standards.
Assemble sandwiches and prepare bakery items in strict accordance with food safety regulations.
Package baked goods carefully to preserve presentation and visual appeal.
Process cash, debit, credit, and digital POS transactions accurately.
Restock bakery displays, merchandise items, and manage product rotation using FIFO principles.
Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized dining, counter, and workstation spaces.
Uphold all health, hygiene, and workplace sanitation standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily flow and promptly report any equipment, quality, or safety concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements




Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced café environment with high attention to detail.
Basic understanding of protected food handling procedures.
Comfortable performing physical and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Previous experience in a bakery, café, or coffee shop setting is an asset.
FoodSafe Level 1 certification is considered an asset.
