As an Apprentice Millwright reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, you will support various projects involving machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Ideal candidates have completed their Level 2 Millwright Technical Training and possess hands-on experience in an industrial environment. This role emphasizes collaboration with Journeyperson Millwrights and learning through mentorship on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to industrial sites across the Lower Mainland
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Use tools to assemble and install mechanical equipment
• Assess risks and follow safety procedures during work
Requirements:
• Completion of Level 2 Millwright Apprenticeship
• Personal hand tools and approved footwear
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Experience in manufacturing or mechanical contracting is a plus
• Motivated to learn and develop practical solutions
