Kitchen and Dry Chemical Suppression Technician Our team of technicians needs another member to compliment the delivery of our products and services.
This is due in part to our constantly increasing client base and our superior level of customer service delivered by all our technicians.
At present we have one opening in our kitchen fire suppression department for the right individual. Ideally you have 2 years experience and have a proven knowledge of the Ontario Fire Code and NFPA # 10,17 17A and 96.
Special Note* We are also open to training an individual who posesses mechanical and technical aptitude to excel in this position. Full manufacturer and on the job training is provided.
Responsibilities Attend client sites; perform annual inspections of kitchen fire suppression systems, dry chemical fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, fire hoses and emergency lighting.
Assist in the installation of new kitchen fire suppression systems
Complete modifications to existing systems.
Asses code requirements and make recommendations to clients to service, maintain, replace or upgrade equipment.
Complete accurate and detailed inspection reports.
Complete the removal of equipment from sites for recharge and testing by our in house staff.
Complete return of equipment to original locations.
Make repairs as required on site and install new equipment.
Qualifications - Minimum 2 years direct related experience inspecting and/or repairing kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, fire hoses and emergency lighting.

- A passion for customer service, the want and need to succeed by providing the clients a quality service experience.
- The desire to make a difference and educate the client on the code requirements and safety reasoning for the equipment we service and sell.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding
- Possess a valid motor vehicle license (Class G) (with a clean drivers abstract)
