Become a pivotal part of The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville as a Disability Advisor. In this full time role, you will coordinate disability management and workplace accommodations.
This permanent position requires a skilled advisor with a post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years in disability management or related areas. You will navigate WSIB claims and oversee return-to-work programs, supporting both employees and employers while ensuring legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate occupational and non-occupational disability cases
• Manage interactions with third-party disability providers
• Develop modified work and return-to-work plans
• Oversee the collection of medical documentation
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance
Requirements:
• Minimum three years in disability management
• Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field
• JHSC Certification (Part I and II)
• Understanding of Ontario Human Rights Code
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
