As an Account Manager with WAVE 98.3, you’ll develop and grow your own client base, helping Vancouver businesses connect with our expanding audience through creative campaigns across radio, digital, promotions, and events.

What You’ll Do Prospect for and develop new business throughout the Vancouver market
Build and maintain long-term relationships with local businesses and advertising partners
Learn your clients’ businesses, goals, and challenges to become a trusted marketing partner
Develop customized advertising campaigns across radio, digital, promotions and events
Present ideas and proposals and confidently ask for the business
Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients
Collaborate with our programming, promotions, and creative teams to bring campaigns to life
Meet and exceed individual sales goals
What You Bring 2+ years of experience in media, broadcast, or advertising sales
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Confidence prospecting and developing new business
A self-starter mindset and the ability to work independently
Curiosity about marketing, consumer behaviour and what makes businesses successful




Strong organization and follow-through
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client visits across the Vancouver area (required)
An interest in music, media and the Vancouver business community
Most importantly, you enjoy meeting people, opening doors and creating opportunities.
