Your role:

Preparation of compilation, review and audit engagements

Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns

Preparation of tax slips (T3, T4, T5, etc.)

Performing and leading audits

Identifying and resolving engagement issues

Supporting year-end planning

Developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships

Direct field work and informing manager(s) of the engagement status

Developing strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills





Collaborating to ensure we provide an integrated financial and business solution that meets our clients' need

What you bring to the table:

University degree in commerce or accounting

Attained a Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA, CA) or CPA in waiting

3+ years experience at public accounting firm with a minimum of two years of audit and assurance experience

Working knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep/iFirm, Keystone, and Quickbooks preferred

Strong written and oral communication skills

Interest in managing and developing others

Ability to prioritize and manage deliverables, adhering to time and budget constraints

Ability to consistently meet deadlines, which can be conflicting with one another

Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

A positive attitude and willingness to work and learn

An inclination for attention to detail and accuracy

A desire to be an integral part of a fun team environment

Job Type:
Permanent, Full-time

Salary range:
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
