You will conduct assessments, provide education, and collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure the best care. Provide support and education for recent breastfeeding mothers
Assess, evaluate, and recommend plans for breastfeeding issues
Assist mothers in establishing and maintaining lactation




Keep detailed records and follow up on patient care
Participate on committees enhancing breastfeeding initiativesRequirements:
Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
A minimum of two years experience in neonatal or perinatal nursing
