Lead financial management as the Interim Coordinator of Financial Resources for the Lester B. Pearson School Board. Engage in accounts receivable, general accounting, and financial project oversight for optimal resource management.

This role reports directly to the Director of Finance and is responsible for managing the School Board’s financial practices. Ideal candidates will demonstrate solid judgment and integrity, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and internal controls. Your leadership will guide improvements in accounting systems and support the team through organizational changes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish Finance Department objectives and annual action plans
• Coordinate financial management, reporting, and statements preparation




• Implement financial policies and management tools
• Analyze financial data and provide decision support
• Supervise staff and foster a collaborative work environment

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred
• Minimum five years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proven leadership and employee development skills
• Bilingual in English and French
