We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead new business development for a National Cleaning company across Canada. You'll be responsible for growing our client base, managing the full B2B sales cycle, and building lasting relationships with property managers, facility directors, and business owners. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the commercial cleaning industry and thrives on hitting targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial cleaning contracts (offices, retail, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities)
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and site walk-throughs to proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation
Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
Identify growth opportunities and support sales planning initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams across operations and account management teams.
Prepare competitive bids and cleaning service proposals tailored to client needs and building specifications
Monitor local market trends, competitor pricing,



and industry developments to identify recent opportunities
Resolve client concerns during the sales and onboarding process to ensure a strong start to the relationship
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Proven experience in sales, business development or account management more than 5 years in the commercial cleaning industry (experience in cleaning, facilities or B2B services is an asset).
Strong understanding of commercial cleaning scopes of work, pricing models, and service standards
Ability to provide rough quotes over the phone with leads
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle; willingness to travel locally to client sites.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently to manage a territory
Might require to travel out of province from time to time
