The Project Manager will work with multi-disciplinary teams overseeing project staff and sub-contractors, providing guidance to ensure each project meets operational standards. This includes developing a detailed scope of work, budget and schedule, conducting risk management assessments and maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and deliverables
Review and provide oversight of engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements, applicable standards, and client expectations
Collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and vendors to coordinate activities and ensure efficient project execution
Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and materials to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards
Prepare and maintain project reports, progress updates, cost reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders
Plan, coordinate, and allocate project resources,



including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to support project objectives
Identify, assess, and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing and implementing mitigation and contingency strategies as required
Conduct project close-outs, evaluations, and lessons-learned reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhance the delivery of future projects
Requirements 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining, construction, energy, or heavy industrial sectors
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset
Proven experience managing projects from planning and design through execution, commissioning, and close-out
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and resource management
Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, vendors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders
Strong knowledge of project risk management, quality control, and change management
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings,



specifications, contracts, and technical documentation
Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
Robust commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment
