New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Software Developer - Generative & Agentic AI to support the development, integration, and operationalization of AI-powered applications and reusable AI capabilities. This is a hands-on development role within an Innovation Team, focused on integrating large language models (LLMs) into enterprise products and workflows and building intelligent, agentic systems that support business users in reviewing information, analyzing complex data, and making decisions.
The successful candidate will act as a technical lead and primary developer in establishing reusable AI solution patterns, frameworks, and platform capabilities. The role will involve working with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source LLMs, RAG and GraphRAG architectures, agent orchestration frameworks, and Azure technologies to develop production-ready AI solutions that can be scaled and reused across multiple business areas. As agentic AI is an emerging field, candidates with a strong combination of software development, LLM integration, AI architecture, curiosity, and applicable technical experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: Act as the technical lead and primary developer for establishing reusable AI platform capabilities, frameworks, and solution patterns.
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance production-grade AI applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and open-source large language models.
Integrate LLM capabilities into enterprise applications, workflows, APIs, and digital products.
Design and implement reusable AI and agentic solution patterns, components, frameworks, and reference architectures that can be leveraged across multiple business domains.
Explore, design, and implement advanced AI architectures, including agent-based and multi-agent systems.
Work with orchestration frameworks and technologies such as AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar tools.




Design and implement RAG and GraphRAG solutions using embeddings and vector databases.
Collaborate with business, product, data, architecture, and development teams to prototype, deliver, and operationalize AI-powered solutions.
Develop APIs and supporting services required to integrate AI functionality into enterprise systems.
Deploy, maintain, monitor, and support AI solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.
Develop evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess AI solution accuracy, effectiveness, reliability, performance, and business value.
Establish monitoring, governance, and operational controls supporting the responsible and reliable use of AI solutions.
Identify opportunities to apply proven AI capabilities, reusable patterns, and components to additional business processes and portfolios.
Contribute to AI architecture standards, technical direction, development practices, and governance.
Maintain clear technical documentation covering models, prompts, workflows, architectures, reusable patterns, and key design decisions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Stay current with emerging research, technologies, frameworks, and best practices in generative AI and agentic AI.
Support knowledge sharing and technical capability development across the broader development community.
Requirements: 3+ years of professional software development experience, including recent experience integrating large language models or AI capabilities into software applications.
Robust hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core,



including object-oriented design and software development principles.
Experience with Python and AI/ML development frameworks and libraries.
Experience with OpenAI and/or Azure OpenAI.
Experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar AI frameworks.
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and agent-based design concepts.
Understanding of agent-based design concepts, agentic AI architectures, and multi-agent system patterns.
Experience or strong familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), GraphRAG, embeddings, and vector search.
Experience with vector databases or vector-enabled data platforms such as Cosmos DB, pgvector, Qdrant, or similar technologies.
Experience deploying and supporting applications within Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge and experience with Azure AI services.
Experience designing and building APIs and enterprise system integrations.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment practices, and Agile software development.
Understanding of production-grade application development, including testing, monitoring, maintainability, scalability, security, and operational support.
Ability to evaluate and communicate the effectiveness, reliability, limitations, and business value of AI solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts and communicate AI capabilities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow within the rapidly evolving generative and agentic AI landscape.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline.
