The Toronto District School Board is seeking a Disability Case Administrator for a 12-month acting position within their People and Culture department. Candidates must possess robust claims adjudication and case management skills. You will analyze medical information, manage short-term disability claims, and liaise with various stakeholders throughout the disability management process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adjudicate short-term leave disability claims efficiently
• Facilitate early interventions and case management plans
• Maintain regular contact with employees and medical providers
• Develop return to work plans and strategies
• Update claims information in the disability management system
Requirements:
• University degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Three years of relevant disability case management experience
• Knowledge of WSIA and Human Rights Code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
