We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Controller in managing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, cost analysis, and strengthening financial processes, systems, and controls.

Responsibilities
Support timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close
Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, variances, efficiencies)
Monitor job costing and investigate cost variances
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions
Manage inventory analysis, cycle counts, and provisions
Maintain fixed assets, CAPEX, accruals, prepaid expenses, and payroll entries
Prepare financial reports, consolidation packages, and management analysis
Handle sales tax reporting and audit support
Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA an asset)
5+ years of experience in financial analysis and month-end close
Manufacturing environment experience
Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
Bilingual ( divisions outside Quebec)
