The Position:
Hill Crest Community School is a Grade K to 9 school in betweenFort Vermilion and La Crete with a projected enrolment of 324 students
Foundations classrooms focus primarily on building students' literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills. These classes provide targeted instruction for students with identified gaps in learning and are designed to accelerate growth through consistent, explicit teaching and frequent practice.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have avalid work permit
Must have aBachelor's Degree in Education or applicableequivalent
Must be eligible to obtain or have a validAlberta Teaching Certificate
Willing torelocate to northern Alberta
Incentives:
Attractive Salary - $71,461 to $115,716 depending on experience and education
$5,000 Transitional Allowance, prorated based on start date
$6,300 Northern Allowance, prorated by FTE for part time teachers
