Half-time Educational Assistant (3 hours per day)

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Understanding of the escalation cycle
Ability to form robust relationships with students,
Seeing the best in every student in an inclusive school setting
Assisting and supporting students through individual support plans and/or behaviour support plans
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
Willingness to work as part of a team, take direction and follow student and classroom programs
Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
Ability to work in a versatile learning setting and make adjustments for classroom or individual child needs
Supervision duties (recess, classroom, lunch, etc.)
We will require all successful applicants to provide a police record check with vulnerable sector check and an intervention record check
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
