BinSentry is expanding rapidly and seeks a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid foundation in mechanical and mechatronics engineering. You will leverage your 5+ years of experience in designing electro-mechanical systems to create innovative solutions in ag-tech. This role involves both design and assembly, alongside a commitment to ensuring product compliance and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed mechanical designs using Solidworks
• Prototype parts with 3D printing and machine shop collaboration
• Assemble and test prototype systems hands-on
• Ensure compliance with IEC and UL standards
• Document processes and train production teams
Requirements:
• Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Degree
• Over 5 years of electro-mechanical design experience
• Proficient in Solidworks and GD&T; principles
• Experience with Asian prototype machine shops
• Valid P.Eng License or in pursuit is a plus
