About the Role
Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you'll support and collaborate with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional customer care and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Education & Qualifications
Active registration and valid practice permit
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
1 year experience practicing as an LPN, home health service delivery preferred.
Enhanced Criminal Record Check
A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
Key Responsibilities
Assist with patient assessments and monitor health status
Administer injections for flu and travel vaccines
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Educate patients on health management and treatment plans
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
Care coordination between care providers, facility staff, and pharmacy team
Address patientquestions and concerns
Daily witnessed dosing of Opioid Agonist Therapy
Nursing assessment for signs of intoxication and/or withdrawal symptoms
Administration of monthly injections such as insulin, Abilify, Invega
Provide exceptional customer service and care
Experience & Skills
Experience with patient assessments
Working knowledge in related field
Familiarization with technology
Experience in addiction & mental health fields is an asset
Community health LPN, Home Care LPN,or similar experience is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in patient care
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in AB
