Description The Production General Labourer (Roll-Forming) is responsible for facilitating the production of metal building products through the operation of various machines on the production floor.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

Preparing labels for boxes

Inspection of product for defects including paint finish

Packaging product

Stack boxes onto skid

Feeding/loading coil

Complete production paperwork

General housekeeping of work area

Other duties as required

Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Attention to Detail

Capable of repetitive motions for long periods of time

Willingness to work to meet deadlines

Ability to work well independently as well as in a team

Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management

Education/Certification/Experience

Previous manufacturing experience (asset)

Previous roll-forming experience

Physical Demands

Noise (machinery, punch presses)

Lifting up to 25 kg

Bending and twisting

Standing for long periods of time

Pushing/pulling

While performing the duties of this position,



the employee will have exposure to a production facility with operating machinery, mechanical parts and moving vehicles. The noise level in this environment is moderate, and can reach very high levels in the production plant when running the stamping presses as well as certain other machinery. Some areas of this environment are exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
