This full-time role reports directly to the Executive Director, requiring a strong background in Recreation Therapy or Gerontology. In this position, you will develop, implement, and evaluate programs that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure activities align with the needs of residents and adhere to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and evaluate recreational programs for seniors • Supervise and mentor Active Living Aides and volunteers • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback • Maintain program documentation and participation records • Assist in managing the Active Living department budget

Requirements: • Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field • At least 2 years of recreational experience in healthcare • Knowledge of long-term care standards and regulations • Strong communication and organizational skills • Explicit Criminal Record Check required
