Rightway Recruitment is representing a leading electrical contractor with a long-standing
reputation for delivering complex commercial, institutional, healthcare, and infrastructure
projects across Western Canada.
Due to continued project growth, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team
on a major healthcare redevelopment project in Downtown Vancouver. This is a full-time,
site-based position supporting a dedicated Project Manager on a large-scale hospital
project that is expected to run through 2029, providing exceptional long-term stability and
This opportunity is ideal for a Project Coordinator who enjoys being embedded with the
construction team, supporting day-to-day project delivery, and gaining exposure to a
significant institutional project from construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction activities
Supporting project schedules, milestones, procurement activities, and resource planning
Tracking project progress and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
Coordinating materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors
Managing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and correspondence
Assisting with project cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
Participating in project meetings and distributing updates to internal and external stakeholders
Supporting project closeout documentation and turnover requirements
Maintaining strong working relationships with field teams, consultants, suppliers, and client representatives
Assisting with risk identification, issue tracking, and resolution management
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and project administration processes
What You Bring: 2+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar construction support role
Experience within electrical construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, or a related technical environment is considered an asset
Robust organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced construction environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and administrative capabilities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn within a collaborative project team
Technical Assets: Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
Procore
SiteDocs
Microsoft Office Suite
Construction project management software
Document control and project tracking systems

$75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
