This part time role focuses on delivering high-quality care to residents while adhering to AgeCare policies. You'll work closely with Personal Support Workers and the Registered Nurse, ensuring all medical procedures are followed. Your expertise in geriatric and long-term care nursing will be essential in meeting the residents' needs effectively and compassionately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement AgeCare policies and nursing practices in collaboration with the team • Provide direction to Personal Support Workers during care • Liaise with physicians and health care partners for resident care • Notify physicians of significant changes in resident condition • Participate in shift reports to communicate resident statuses
Requirements: • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario • Background in geriatric care, rehabilitation, or long-term nursing • Knowledge of relevant health care regulations and standards • Commitment to high-quality patient care • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
