Join the Lambton Kent District School Board as a Psychoeducational Clinician. This permanent role involves psychological assessment services, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation to support students in an educational workplace.
The Psychoeducational Clinician will report directly to the Manager of Psychological Services. Candidates must have a Master's level degree in Psychology and registration with the College of Psychologists or Psychotherapists. This position focuses on delivering assessment and counseling services while collaborating with school-based teams, parents, and outside agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychological assessment and testing services
• Determine intervention strategies with educational teams
• Counsel and consult with students and parents
• Communicate effectively with school administration
• Travel throughout the District as required
Requirements:
• Master's level degree in Psychology
• Registration with the College of Psychologists
• Experience in assessment and counseling preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams
