In this permanent role, the Procurement Specialist reports to the Procurement Business Partner Manager. With a focus on public sector procurement, you will manage the entire procurement lifecycle from planning to contract execution. Key responsibilities include interpretation of policies, project management, and consulting with clients on issues to ensure successful procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement processes per policies and agreements
• Interpret corporate policies for compliance adherence
• Collaborate on procurement strategies and bid document creation
• Provide client consulting and training for procurement projects
• Resolve disputes with stakeholders and suppliers
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years public sector procurement experience
• Preferred certifications: NISCL-MPICS, NIGP-CPP, CPPB
• Solid project management and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic bidding platforms
• Ethical adherence to procurement policies and standards
