This part time position reports to the Food Service Manager. You will work primarily with therapeutic menus, preparing lunches, dinners, and snacking provisions. Additionally, you'll oversee kitchen operations, ensure quality control, and provide guidance to dietary aides, all in compliance with public health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow therapeutic menu plans for dietary needs
• Prepare lunches and dinners according to nutritional standards
• Maintain temperature and quality control for food items




• Guide dietary aides in basic food preparation standards
• Ensure smooth kitchen operation and compliance with sanitation
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certificate preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years in a food safety course
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attendance and collaboration required
• Capacity to stand for long periods
