Role Overview

The Slicer & Packer plays a vital role in our daily operations by slicing bread, packing fresh baked goods, and ensuring every product meets our presentation and food safety standards. Working in a quick-paced workplace, this position involves operating slicing machinery, handling inventory across ambient and cold storage facilities, and preparing orders for distribution.

Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate bread slicing machinery.
Slice, wrap, seal, and label artisanal breads and pastries in compliance with Food & Safety Standards.
Retrieve, store, and package frozen goods within cold storage and freezer areas.
Inspect finished goods to guarantee visual quality, freshness, and proper packaging seals.
Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work stations throughout the slicing and packaging zones.
Support stock rotation and inventory tracking as required.
Adhere strictly to company health, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail with high quality standards.




Physical capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 18 kg.
Willingness to work in cold storage and freezer environments (protective thermal gear is provided).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment both independently and collaboratively.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, mid-day, closings, weekends, and holidays.
Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Basic competency with hand tools is considered an asset.
