Position: Coordinator, Corporate Communications and Industry Partnerships 723M

Salary: Unifor 723M Group C

Hours: 40 hours per week, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. shift with overtime and shifted scheduling as required. May be required to work the occasional weekend.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications and the Communications Manager, Industry Partnerships and Talent, the coordinator supports the day‑to‑day content and maintenance for Bell Media’s media site, The Lede, as well as BellMedia.ca, and the French media site, Salle de Presse. They draft and edit corporate communications materials, including newsletters, notes to staff, and more. Additionally, they provide internal and external support for executive and corporate announcements and communications, Sales, out‑of‑home, and other internal communications

Responsibilities

Work with the Corporate Communications team on initiatives to support and amplify the work of the Bell Media PR team

Support internal and corporate communications including executive town halls, notes, newsletters, etc.





Draft communications for the Sales team, including notes from leaders to staff and clients, and press releases, pitching media, etc.

Identify gaps in content flow and knowledge base among team for The Lede, and third‑party media monitoring tools, and proactively suggest new resources/how‑to documents to bridge the gaps

Compile, edit daily content for Weekly Lede Stories, build plan to grow users of The Lede and Weekly Lede Stories

Draft content for LinkedIn and other social platforms

Maintain consistent and ongoing social media strategy for @TheLede social handles, including working directly with English PR team to ensure posts from @CTV_PR, @TSN_PR, and @Crave_PR support the strategy. Work with Quebec team on best practices.

Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Hosting, IT, Digital, Security and Sales as it pertains to The Lede

Manage statistical reports for The Lede and BellMedia.ca, as well as Custom Scoring statistics for the team

Work with the Industry Partnerships team to support key national Bell Media partnerships, including assisting with the development of creative assets

Oversee all Public Service Announcements linked to relevant partnerships and work with traffic to handle requests

Support the local Toronto community partnership portfolio for CP24 and CTV Toronto

Contribute to the maintenance of tracking system for all partnerships and talent appearances

Assist with talent appearance requests and publicity requests for Bell Media In‑House Studios talent

Support the sourcing of news talent to fulfill hosting and emcee requirements for charity and fundraising events

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

University degree and/or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field required

Minimum of 1 year experience in communications or publicity within the media or entertainment industry preferred

Must be highly organized and have strong administrative skills, with the ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously while supporting team priorities





Must be detail‑oriented and resourceful, with the ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy

Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

Must have computer software knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with Photoshop skills an asset

Strong social media knowledge and interest in LinkedIn and Instagram, among others

Commitment to learning

Ability to work under terms of confidentiality

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
