Adecco is currently hiring a Maintenance & Material Handling Technician on behalf of our client in Minnedosa, MB. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on individual with experience operating forklifts, loaders, skid steers, and other mobile equipment, combined with strong mechanical aptitude and general maintenance skills.
In this role, you will support maintenance operations, warehouse activities, material handling, shipping and receiving, grounds maintenance, and provide coverage for grain receiving and DDGS loading operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and thrives in an industrial or agricultural environment.
Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Responsibilities: Assist maintenance trades with repair, maintenance, and plant improvement projects.
Perform general maintenance duties including painting, signage installation, minor carpentry, and facility upkeep.
Support plant housekeeping and grounds maintenance activities.
Assist with snow removal, sanding, mowing, and street sweeping operations.
Material Handling & Warehouse Operations Operate forklifts, front-end loaders, skid steers, and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
Receive, unload, store, and organize materials, chemicals, equipment, and parts.
Support shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean,



organized, and safe warehouse workplace.
Grain Receiving & DDGS Loading Coverage Provide vacation coverage for grain receiving and DDGS loading operations.
Assist with grain receiving, grading, binning, and issuing delivery receipts.
Support loading operations and prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
Ensure safe and efficient material movement throughout the facility.
Safety & Compliance Follow all health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Participate in lockout/tagout and permitting processes.
Conduct safety observations and support plant safety initiatives.
Promote a solid safety culture across all work activities.
Qualifications and Skills: High School Diploma (Grade 12) required
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts, loaders, or similar mobile equipment
Minimum 1 year of maintenance, handyman, carpentry, construction, or mechanical experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills
Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and work independently
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Experience in grain handling, agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial operations is considered an asset
Shipping and receiving experience is considered an asset
Warehouse or inventory experience is considered an asset
Experience operating skid steers, ride-on mowers, sweepers, or loaders is considered an asset
Mechanical, maintenance, or trade-related experience is considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
