J&G; Homes is looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Site Labourer to join our team for various projects in Brandon.

Position Overview
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position supporting the construction team with general site labour, clean-up, organization and other day-to-day tasks required to help keep the project moving safely and efficiently.

Job Duties

Maintain a clean, organized and safe construction site

Pick up and remove construction debris, waste and excess materials from work areas

Perform general site clean-up throughout the workday

Sweep and clean work areas as required

Move, carry and organize construction materials and supplies

Assist with loading and unloading materials

Help keep materials, tools and work areas organized

Assist tradespeople and other members of the construction team with general labour tasks as directed

Help prepare work areas for upcoming construction activities

Perform basic manual labour and site-support duties

Identify and report unsafe conditions or hazards to the Site Manager/Supervisor





Follow company safety procedures and complete other general construction-site duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

Previous construction or general labour experience is preferred but not required

Ability and willingness to perform physical work throughout the workday

Comfortable working in an active construction-site workplace

Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Strong attention to site cleanliness, organization and safety

Able to work independently when required and as part of a construction team

Appropriate construction-site safety wear, including CSA-approved work boots and a hard hat
