About The Role
As an Employee Services Representative, you’ll build broad, in-demand HR operations expertise by becoming a trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders, solving real issues across pay, benefits, pension, timekeeping, and policy. You’ll own cases end-to-end, partner with internal specialists and vendors, and support key employee lifecycle transactions, giving you exposure to how a large, complex organization works. You’ll also contribute to making service better: improving templates and knowledge content, preparing verification letters, and supporting payroll/timecard investigations, so your work has visible impact on the employee experience.

What You Get to Do:

Be the first point of contact for employee and leader questions across pay, benefits, pension, timekeeping, policies, and programs





Represent the team in cross-functional projects and participate in team projects

Own cases end-to-end: clarify needs, resolve issues, and elevate complex items to the right experts

Prepare and process employee lifecycle transactions (hire, leave, retirement, termination), ensuring documentation is complete and accurate

Coordinate with internal partners and third-party vendors to gather information, submit requests, and keep work moving

Create employment verification letters and support investigations related to payroll, timecards, and vacation

Spot patterns in inquiries, help keep templates and knowledge content current, and recommend improvements that make service simpler and faster

Support HR operations from onboarding and benefits enrollment to HR system testing and invoice coding, so the employee experience runs smoothly

What You Bring:

Post-secondary education in HR or related field

3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a shared services environment

Strong Excel skillset, along with reporting and SharePoint experience

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet strict deadlines

Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information

Professional, approachable and customer service oriented

Basic knowledge of legislation such as Human Rights, the Workers’ Compensation Act,



the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all interested stakeholders

Ability to interpret and apply corporate policies and procedures, and collective agreements

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning, and adherence to a qualified Code of Ethics

Experience with an ERP (e.g. SAP/Oracle) is considered an asset
