This role focuses on assisting community members at Main Street Project's withdrawal facilities in Winnipeg. You'll engage with participants through intake coordination, medication monitoring, and programming implementation in a team-oriented team environment. Your work will be vital in helping those facing addiction and homelessness achieve their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate intake and review for incoming participants
• Oversee medication administration and tracking
• Engage in one-on-one check-ins and support sessions
• Facilitate access to internal and external resources
• Document daily participant interactions and incidents
Requirements:
• Experience in human services, ideally with addiction or mental health
• Post-secondary education in addictions considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail for record-keeping
• Compassionate and client-centered approach to care
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory
