Safeguard assets as an Asset Protection Specialist at Home Depot. This position focuses on minimizing theft and fraud while supporting safety compliance in your assigned store.

The Asset Protection Specialist (APS) drives the execution of loss prevention strategies in a retail setting. You will work closely with management and associates to foster a culture of ‘Shrink Elimination’. In addition to investigating theft, you'll ensure compliance with safety programs and environmental standards as well as communicate effectively with key personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with Asset Protection Supervisor
• Conduct internal and external theft investigations
• Drive vendor compliance to safety programs




• Write reports on apprehensions and assist with law enforcement
• Perform surveillance and utilize CCTV as needed

Requirements:
• Valid security guard or private investigator license
• 1+ years of experience in loss prevention
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze situations creatively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
