About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with technical support experience in a hardware/software environment, excellent communication skills and who can work effectively independently and in a team environment.
What you'll do
Assist Engineering department to conduct hardware/product validation
Develop test procedures for new product development
Test initial prototypes and other special handling activities
Support Production Test and Marketing departments
Troubleshoot hardware and software components
Perform firmware verification testing
Create custom application-specific configurations for customers by having a transparent understanding of product features
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of technical support experience in a hardware and software environment
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical reporting and customer interaction
Work well independently and in team environments
Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, CANopen, LIN, Ethernet is considered an asset
