Contribute to the community as a Temporary Shelter Case Worker at Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver. Support homeless adults and help address their basic needs in a nurturing environment.

As a full-time Shelter Case Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and provide direct support to individuals facing homelessness and related challenges. This role requires a Diploma or Certificate and two years of relevant experience, emphasizing strong communication and crisis intervention skills. You will engage with guests, aid in action plan development, and ensure they access the necessary services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide supervision and assistance to homeless adults
• Assist guests in identifying and developing action plans




• Refer individuals to community services for crisis support
• Maintain accurate records and statistical data
• Support new staff within the shelter setting

Requirements:
• Diploma or Certificate or Grade 12 with related experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Familiarity with community resources
• Strong case planning and organizational skills
• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
