Bartle & Gibson has just opened a brand recent branch in Salmon Arm! This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected plumbing, heating, and electrical company and be part of a new team . We are currently in search of a team member to conduct Plumbing Counter Sales. The hours for this role are Tuesday to Friday from 6:30a.m to 3:30p.m and Saturday from 9:00a.m to 1:00p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone

Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders

Processing orders in the system

Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock

Consistent training and understanding of current products

Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships

Handling returns as required

Keeping counter and sales area clean

Merchandising and showcasing product

Other duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers

Impeccable organizational skills with high attention to detail

Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time





Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team

Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing is preferred

Knowledge of the Plumbing industry or a background in plumbing products is preferred
