The Housekeeper reports to the Program Manager and isresponsible for providing a range of services that promote a positiveappearance of the facility for both clients and staff. Working in conjunctionwith others, this position ensures that areas are clean and free of hazards.

The successful applicant should demonstrate the ability towash and disinfect the facility by dusting, wiping down, polishing, vacuuming,sweeping, and wet mopping areas such as walls, windows, floors, air vents,furniture, and mattresses.

Qualifications

Grade10 plus one (1) year of recent related experience.

Requirements

WHIMISCertification.

Completethe Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

Hourly Wage Rate: $25.91 – $29.75.

Plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stat time.

Work Location: Various.

Work Days: As needed and dependent on your availability.

Shift Times: Varies on availability.

Union: BCGEU.

Job Type: Casual.

In compliance with OHS and WorkSafe regulations, staff may be supplied with and required to wear a half-mask respirator while performing task-specific duties, at specific sites.
