Provide clinical management across multiple newborn care levels, including Level I routine nursery, Level II intermediate care, and Level III NICU environments.

Perform newborn assessments, pediatric floor care, and evaluations for low- and high-risk neonates.

Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections to lead neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.

Perform emergency department neonatal consultations in collaboration with on-site pediatric specialists.

Manage patient stabilization and coordinate inter-facility transfers when higher-level intervention is required.

Collaborate closely with attending neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists to maintain high standards of patient care.

What you must have: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).

Active state licensure in Indiana and Illinois (or willingness to obtain through credentialing).

Active BLS and NRP certifications.

Demonstrated clinical proficiency in high-risk delivery attendance, neonatal stabilization, and Level III NICU care.

Robust communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based care.

Schedule & Practice Setting Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital maternal and neonatal care units.

Volume: Low-to-moderate daily patient volumes across all care levels, offering a balanced clinical pace.

Shift Structure: 24-hour shift schedule (9:00 AM to 9:00 AM).

Coverage Need: Approximately 7 to 10 shifts per month needed on an ongoing basis (single 24-hour shift rotations).
