Company Description Mathnasium is a dedicated math learning center serving learners from Kindergarten through Grade 12 in Brampton, ON. The center focuses on building strong foundational skills and confidence in mathematics through personalized instruction. Programs are designed to support students with school curriculum, enrichment, and remediation in a supportive learning environment. Mathnasium Brampton East offers structured, proven teaching methods that help learners develop problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward math. The center provides a welcoming, inclusive space where educators can make a meaningful impact on students’ academic growth.
Role Description The Mathematics instrictors at Mathnasium will deliver math instruction to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 in a small-group or one-on-one setting. Day-to-day tasks include assessing student skill levels, following Mathnasium teaching methodologies, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and providing clear explanations of math concepts. The role involves monitoring student progress, offering constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records,



and collaborating with center leadership to support student success. The Mathematics Teacher will also help create a positive, inclusive learning environment and communicate professionally with learners and families as needed. This is a part time, on-site role located in Brampton, ON.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education across Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to diverse learner needs.
Status as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience in math.
Ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt teaching approaches, and engage students of varying skill levels.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to providing an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students.
Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is an asset.
Availability to work part-time during after-school hours and weekends as required.
