This on-site apprenticeship offers training in operating power saws, shaping wood, and maintaining a clean work environment. While no formal education is required, your commitment and attention to detail will be key in this role. Also, you will work directly with experienced craftsmen to develop your skills further.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate woodworking machines to shape and cut components
• Shape surfaces using hand tools like chisels and planes
• Sand and finish products using various techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe millwork shop
Requirements:
• No degree, certificate or diploma needed
• Previous experience in woodworking preferred
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Must wear steel-toed safety boots
