As a substitute instructor, you will focus on providing essential language instruction to adult newcomers under varied teaching schedules. Emphasizing settlement issues, cultural inclusion, and utilizing technology in the classroom, you will create a supportive environment for learning. Your role involves employing the ECSD LINC Curriculum Guidelines and maintaining a protected classroom atmosphere for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct diverse classes on basic English language skills
• Create lesson plans based on provided guidelines




• Maintain student attendance and assess progress
• Collaborate with the regular instructor for seamless transitions
• Organize field trips to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education preferred
• 1-2 years of ESL/EAL teaching experience
• TESL Canada certification or ACE TESOL completion
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and online platforms
• Strong communication and organizational skills
