Job Title: Java AI Developer with AI Tools Job Type: Full Time Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with AI Tools experience to design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, distributed systems, and Agentic AI development , with experience building scalable applications in enterprise environments.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and modern Dev

Ops practices.

Experience working with Linux/Unix environments, databases, and Agile development methodologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Core Java.

Build scalable and distributed systems capable of supporting large-scale production workloads.

Apply data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns to develop productive and maintainable solutions.

Develop and integrate Agentic AI solutions and AI development tools into enterprise applications.

Work with relational and document-oriented databases.

Develop and maintain applications in Linux/Unix environments using scripting and automation.





Troubleshoot complex application and system issues and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Follow Agile development methodologies and Dev

Ops best practices.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in Core Java development .

Proven experience building production-grade backend systems.

Experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

Hands-on experience with Agentic AI development and AI tools .

Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.

Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with Dev

Ops practices and modern software delivery processes.

Experience integrating AI capabilities into Java-based backend applications.
