JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor, the technician is responsible for performing installation, programming, modification, inspection, repair, replacement, adjustment, calibration, maintenance, and verification of all electronic and instrumentation systems.

They must also ensure proper diagnosis of issues. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Receive instructions, plans, and drawings from the supervisor; Perform tasks requiring in-depth knowledge of electronics principles, electrical principles, and an understanding of process operation systems; Program and carry out installation, modification, inspection, repair, replacement, adjustment, calibration, maintenance, and verification of all electronic systems and related instrumentation; Respond to defect-related requests; Analyze and interpret various types of drawings, control diagrams, distribution panels, and programmable logic controllers to identify issues, install and repair them, and subsequently determine material or spare part needs,



or alternative solutions for urgent repairs to avoid production downtime; Isolate and lock out equipment for personal work and, if necessary, for other workers; Enter logical data into programmable controllers; Design and update drawings; Disassemble distribution panels and repair or reassemble them as needed; Maintain various records such as maintenance logs, material requisitions, and receipts; Operate lifting or transport equipment to complete tasks. YOUR PROFILE Relevant college diploma in electrotechnology (electronics technology, industrial electronics technology, ordered systems technology, physical engineering technology, avionics techniques) or equivalent; Valid Electricity Certificate (C) issued by Emploi-Qubec; Proficiency in spoken and written French (essential); Experience with electrical systems and components across all voltage levels; Successful completion of aptitude tests and training for the position; Good physical condition and manual dexterity; Ability to work in a team, autonomy, and responsibility; Capacity for learning and maintaining production pace.
